More Info
Prior to your arrival we will need you to register with PADI for your Discover Scuba Dive, complete a medical release and short course taking about an hour of your time learning the basics for a fun and safe adventure. Once the instructor has verified these things are done – it’s gear up and go under time!!!! PADI DSD Course
Upon arrival at Koloa Landing or the vessel, you share in a small interactive talk, then do some shore and shallow water work to get you comfortable diving! You do this all in half a day with one of our PADI instructors, who ensures your comfort and pace.
Once you pass the minimal requirements, we can take you on two-tank local boat dives during your remaining time on the island with your instructor as a non certified “Scuba Diver”. Once underwater, it’s time for a marine scuba tour! You dive with the turtles, swim in schools of fish, check out eels, and more. The boat dives typically have better visibility, more marine life, and lots more live coral.
Maximum depth during your dives is 40 feet.
All discover scuba lessons have a private instructor with a maximum of two to four divers depending on the age of our students.
